While researching to learn more about the use of apple cider vinegar for internal health, it was astounding the many physicians that studied documented its many benefits.

They also recommended therapeutic uses of apple cider vinegar for internal conditions and stomach ailments.

One health expert stated that:

Taking apple cider vinegar along with clean water would make an ideal tonic to start off each day. After all, he said, it's just like taking a pure, natural multivitamin “pill” in liquid form, that at the very least, relieves deficiencies found in the processed, refined foods we encounter every day.”

As stated on our apple cider vinegar page, this is the vinegar that reigns supreme for its medicinal and healing value.

The daily tonic we took not only aided in weight loss, but helped us to bypass the throat and flu junk that was going around at the time.

So now anytime it's cold or flu season we start pumping down the apple cider vinegar and honey tonic. Remember, 1 teaspoon ACV and 1 teaspoon honey in warm water. Adding a 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Turmeric really ups the power of this tonic. It works!


Apple Cider Vinegar
and Inflammation

Several of the trace elements and minerals in ACV help to reduce inflammation.

Due to ACV's anti-inflammatory properties, some individuals have said it helped to reduce some arthritis pain, cramps and other inflammatory ailments.

A glass of water with 2 teaspoons of ACV and some honey may relieve nighttime leg cramps as well.


Food Poisoning.

According to one book, ACV internally gave individuals relief from food poisoning. It stated that vinegar neutralizes the poisons and kills harmful bacteria in the digestive tract.

The recommendation was to take a quarter teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar once a day until food poisoning symptoms are relieved. Some doctors have even recommended use of vinegar before meals, especially when eating in foreign countries and visiting questionable restaurants.

Fiber is very beneficial for diabetes, constipation, and diarrhea.  All three maladies are helped with high fiber.

Apple cider vinegar is high in pectin, the fiber that is found in apples. Adding fiber to your diet adds bulk which helps to stimulate proper bowel contractions.

Pectin fiber also stimulates the growth of healthful bacteria in the colon which aids in the assimilation of nutrients.

Concerning diabetes, physicians frequently recommend high-fiber diets to help control diabetes. Several studies have shown that pectin helps control blood sugar (glucose) levels in diabetes as well.
