Natural Immune Boosters

There are many Natural and Safe immune boosters. The best way to boost our immune systems is to stick to good nutrition.  However, a good healthy diet is very lacking in our society today, as we live a fast paced lifestyle.

Under-nutrition is now considered the most common cause of immune deficiency in the world. Therefore many Drs. and nutritionists recommend some sort of vitamin/mineral supplements.

Guess what one of the easiest, yet not so easy things to boost your immune system is? Just say no...

That's right, it is to cut out processed sugar in drinks and food as completely as possible. If you must start with only one thing, then start with eliminating the sugar.

Just a spoonful of sugar?

According to studies done, ingesting only 100 grams of sugar, (example: 1 soda:39-50 gr and 1 scoop of ice cream:66-70 gr)  is known to significantly harm white blood cell activity.  100 grams is roughly equivalent to 1/2 cup of sugar.

Within 30 minutes of ingesting this sugar, white blood cell activity will slow down significantly and it won't recover for at least five hours.

This study was for adult bodies, the amount of sugar to have the same effect on children, is much lower.

The habit of extreme sugar consumption has created a society of individuals with chronically depressed immune systems. 

In actuality studies have concluded each person, each day easily consumes over 150 grams (3/4 cup) of added sugar, not including natural sugars in healthy food and beverages. 

When a 100 grams causes significant harm to our immune systems, imagine what a daily dose of 150 grams is doing to our bodies, with no break in the cycle.

We were told by a Dr personally that it takes 3 days for excess sugar to cycle through your body completely.

Therefore if we fall for the, just a bit every few days mentality, then our bodies are constantly in a state of inflammation and reduced immunity.

Sugar is a serious inflammatory as well, just the process of inflammation itself makes our bodies more susceptible to many other illnesses.

Colloidal Silver

As a family we have used Colloidal Silver since 1999.  The list is long of all we have used it for, including for colicky babies.  It is totally safe and none of us have turned blue, not even the lightest shade.  :)

We always have a bottle of it in our cabinet ready for anything; stomach aches, cuts, rashes, pink eye, acne, athletes foot, sanitizing counters, odor killer for stinky armpits, swishing for mouth wash, and the list goes on.

I personally keep a small spray bottle in my purse with colloidal silver and peppermint oil in it for mouth freshener.  Works great and is very healthy.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar has been another go to for our family for a good while.  It also has enzymes, potassium, fiber and is anti inflammatory and much more.

This is another winner.  Just recently, garlic saved the day when I was coming down with a very sore throat.

I sing and play piano on our church worship team and I needed to get well... on Saturday. 

So I took Garlic, sprayed my mouth with colloidal silver spray, drank throat coat tea with Moringa added, and was good as new by morning.
